When people
ask us for things to do in Colorado Springs, it’s not because they’re out of
options – how could they be in a place this awesome? No, they ask because
they’re overwhelmed with the sheer amount of activities, adventures, and
attractions available. They’re begging for someone — anyone — to help them
narrow it down just a teensy-weensy bit. Luckily, we like to think of ourselves
as adventure-saving superheroes, ready to swoop in at a moment’s notice with
recommendations, advice, and information. The Adventure Savers are here and
we’re ready to help you launch your next vacation via United Airlines Reservations in a big way. Let’s go!
Explore Underground Colorado Springs
Imagine
exploring Colorado’s nature and stumbling across a hole in the mountain. Now
imagine if you peeked inside that hole and realized it was the entry to an
entire, elaborate series of naturally occurring underground caves. That’s how
two brothers discovered the Cave of the Winds in the late 1800s. Today, through
this remarkable, 500-million-year-old underground world lined with stalactites
and stalagmites and curious rock formations, you can take a guided tour. You’ll
even get to experience “cave darkness” when the guide flips off the flashlight
for a moment. Deep beneath the Earth, this is total darkness, where no natural
or ambient light can penetrate. It’s trippy. Feeling brave? Sign up for the
ghost tour. As if that’s not enough of an adventure, the Cave of the Winds also
offers a handful of thrilling rides above ground, including the Wind Walker (an
obstacle course perched on the edge of a 600-foot cliff), the Bat-A-Pult (a
zipline that flings you across the valley 1,200 feet above ground) and the
Terror-Dactyl, which launches brave visitors 150 down into the guts of the
canyon at nearly 100 miles an hour. It claims to be the first of its kind
anywhere in the world. To know about the direct and cheapest flight to this
place, visit United Airlines OfficialSite.
Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center
One of the
most famous parks in Colorado is Garden of the Gods and it is registered as a
National Natural Landmark. You’ll see why on the drive there: the 300 foot
Sandstone formations tower over anything else in Colorado Springs. With paved
bike paths and clearly marked hiking trails, the park is very well maintained.
If you like, then you can even climb the giant Sandstones and become part of
one of Colorado’s most photographed views. Reserve United Airlines Tickets and conveniently reach this place.
Seven Falls
Seven Falls
hiking can be a little cumbersome, but you’ll be so blown away (and cooled off
by) the roaring water that cascades downward all around you. The Seven Falls
are between two giant rocks called the Pillars of Hercules, and the path along
the way is called Colorado’s Grandest Mile. If simply hiking the falls isn’t
enough, sign up for Broadmoor’s Soaring Adventure, a series of zip lines over
the falls. For any query related to baggage, check-in, etc., visit United Airlines Official Site.
Book your flight tickets at United Airlines Reservations, and travel alluring Colorado
Springs at almost half of the price with us. Hurry up!
